Molly desperately wanted to be in the school's drama club this year and she made it! They prepared a very condensed, small-budget (no-budget, really) version of
Little Orphan Annie. Molly played an orphan and was also a narrator. She did a fantastic job and loved being part of drama club and doing this performance! And she successfully had us singing
It's a Hard Knock Life and
The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow most evenings after her rehearsals, songs which we've learned can easily get stuck in our heads.
A good mother would have recorded this performance on her iPhone and immediately uploaded it for everyone's viewing pleasure, but since I'm not that caught up in the technology world, the video I took of Molly singing and dancing and giving her lines is still on my camera and probably won't get edited for several more years. (I'm currently working on videos from the year 2006--obviously one of my many projects I'll get to when I have "more time".) But here are a couple pictures from her big day.

Molly delivered her lines so well--speaking loudly and clearly and even using fantastic voice inflections and drama! |

We picked out her costume at the thrift store and she even sewed the patches on it herself. |
