Girls' Trip to Utah!

I didn't think I'd be able to make it back to Utah this summer with Annie's health challenges this year and Justin's busy schedule.  But fortunately, Justin was able to work from home and care for Annie for a week while I flew out with Molly and Lexie.  I was amazed at how easy it is to travel with only typical kids!  I felt empty handed since we were able to pack so lightly!

A long layover in Denver without changing planes has some perks.  A super nice pilot helped keep these girls entertained while sitting on the grounded plane for an hour!

We spent a day in Draper to visit Justin's parents and some Tolman cousins visiting from Arizona.

Celebrating Grandma Oldroyd's birthday!

I don't think a trip to Bountiful would be complete without the Slip 'n' Slide.  It wasn't very warm but the kids didn't mind.

We went to the new Museum of Natural Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point.  Here Lexie is experiencing tornado-strength winds with her cousin Bryce.  She didn't need to travel to Utah to experience those kinds of winds!

Cooling off at Thanksgiving Point

The kids loved the play place and rope bridges at the museum the very most.  I'm sure they could have stayed there all day if we'd let them.

Molly and Lexie got to be in a bike parade in my sister's neighborhood for the 4th of July.

And we went swimming at the neighborhood pool several times.  Molly has mastered her diving this summer.

On our last day, we went to Boondocks to celebrate their cousin's birthday.

Earlier that morning, Molly and Lexie wanted to walk around the Bountiful Temple where Justin and I were married.  I thought it would be a quick visit, but they wanted to keep looking at things and had fun taking over two dozen pictures!

We had a late flight home, but both girls slept on the plane.  Good thing Molly brought her bandana to act as a sleep mask!

Like all our trips to Utah, we had a great time, but it went by too quickly.  I'm so grateful that Justin would take care of Annie for a week to give me this break with my family.  But we definitely missed him!
