Annie's 8th Birthday Party!

We decided to throw Annie her first-ever birthday party with friends.  I was worried and hesitant about doing so, but it all turned out to be so much fun! I struggled to come up with activities that Annie and all her typical friends would enjoy, but Justin came to the rescue with his ideas.

First they all finger-painted--a little messy, but very fun.

Then we played a trivia game to learn more about Annie.  I was actually surprised how many little facts they all knew about her!  Then they got to paint their nails and took turns painting Annie's nails.  It was so cute to watch them all get so excited about their turn to paint Annie's nails.  Again, messy, but very fun.

Then of course, what's a birthday party without a cake, even if the birthday girl can't eat it! So we sang to Annie and all the girls huddled around close to help blow out the candles.

We feel so blessed that Annie has friends who love her and have fun with her.  What a darling group of girls!
