Annie's Hospitalized Dental Work

Annie sailed through her procedure today!  She arrived at the hospital at 6:00am for her dental work under general anesthesia.  The dentist was able to remove nearly all the staining that had built up on her teeth.  They kept the calcium build up that is in the grooves of her teeth because it acts as a natural sealant, but now the side surfaces are bright and shiny!  Annie's gums had started to grow over the tops of her teeth in some places, so the dentist also cut away a small portion of gum tissue.  She came out of recovery well and was home by noon without any pain medication the rest of the day!  We love having things go so smoothly!
