A Unique Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving this year will surely be one we will never forget.  Although we longed to be home together as a family surrounding our table with a turkey dinner, we still had a great time being together at the hospital for a few hours this morning enjoying a Thanksgiving party that Molly helped plan.

We started by having breakfast together in Annie's hospital room while we watched the Thanksgiving parade on TV.  We then played "pin the feathers on the turkey" which Molly had made for us.

Then we made feather headbands to pretend we were Indians.  (Lexie refused to participate, so she kept busy playing with new toys from the hospital playroom.)

Justin helped Annie with her Indian headband--he said she needed to be the chief!

Then the girls all watched a Barbie movie while Justin and I played a game.  (Molly is getting better and better with the camera!)

I then took Molly and Lexie with me to my friend's house to enjoy dinner with her and her family.  Thanks so much, Josh and Heather!  They also delivered several plates of food up to Justin at the hospital later that evening too, so we were very blessed to have such wonderful friends to share Thanksgiving with.  It was a great day spent with family and friends.  We have so many blessings to be thankful for!
