Upper GI Results and Spinal Sonogram

Annie's UGI results were all completely normal, showing normal small intestines with no evidence of inflammation.  They are calling the GI to give her these results, so hopefully she'll come by later today and consult with us about a possible plan for further imaging studies of the GI tract.

I also just learned that Dr. Hasley, Annie's orthopedic surgeon stopped by again this morning while we were down in radiology.  He's been checking in on Annie every couple days.  Today, since Annie's temperatures still aren't coming down, he decided to order a spinal sonogram to check for any abscesses, inflammation, or other problems that might be in her back from her spinal fusion.  We'll be going down for that any minute, just as soon as Annie's current IV antibiotic finishes running.
